After months of speculations, Vodafone Ghana has confirmed that US R&B superstar Trey Songz will perform at the second edition of the annual Vodafone 020 Live Concert scheduled for the Dome of the Accra International Conference Center on September 20. Trey Songz, who is currently in South Africa for a two-day concert will join an impressive line -up of pan-African artists to thrill music lovers in Ghana.
Viewed as the concert which brings the best of talents both internationally and locally to Accra for an unforgettable night, 020 Live, from its record, promises a night of fun, entertainment and
vivacity. The show is confidently building on the success of last year’s concert which saw artists like P Square, J Martin and Ghana’s own Eazzy and Sarkodie among others hitting the stage. This year, Trey Songz will join colossal local acts – VIP, Five5, R2Bees, Stay Jay, D Cyme, RnM and multiple winner, D’Banj. With a slew of awards and chart-topping hits, these artists have been carefully selected to rock the stage showcasing their talent in performing live on stage. Fans and concert-goers are therefore guaranteed musical artistry at its finest at this Vodafone initiative.
Vodafone has once again lived up to its promise of empowering local musicians and nurturing talent by including RnM, winners of Vodafone ICONS Divas edition, in the line up of artistes. The female trio have been working towards this concert ever since they emerged winners of the hugely success reality TV show and are determined to affirm their status as ICON Diva.
